Pending applications listed below are those that have completed the confidential intake (or Stage 1 review) phase and a full review is underway. The public comment period lasts for 60 days and all members of the public are encouraged to provide their input via email to comments@lowimpacthydro.org on applications to be considered during the review. The application, project description, and key documents are posted on the project webpage linked via the project name below.

A preliminary decision to certify or recertify a project includes a webpage posting of the LIHI review report. This phase initiates a 30-day appeal period when any one who commented on an application during the public comment period can appeal LIHI's decision. The applicant can also appeal a preliminary decision to not certify the project or can appeal conditions if any are attached to the decision. 

A final decision means the project has been certified for a term of 10 to 15 years.
