August 27, 2021: The Low Impact Hydropower Institute has issued a final decision on the recertification of the Union Gas, Rice Rips, and Oakland Projects located on Messalonskee Stream in Maine.  The 30-day appeal window closed on August 26, 2021 and no appeals were filed. Therefore, the decision to recertify the projects is now final.  The new term for each project is May 9, 2020 through May 8, 2028.
