March 29, 2023: The Low Impact Hydropower Institute has issued final decisions on the certification of the Belleville and Meldahl Hydroelectric Projects. The projects are located on the Ohio River in Ohio and West Virginia (Bellville), and in Ohio and Kentucky (Meldahl).  The Projects are now deemed certified by LIHI. The effective date for each is September 21, 2022 for a ten-year term, which will expire on September 20, 2032.  Project information, including the full application, can be found on LIHI’s website via the project links: Belleville Hydroelectric Project and Meldahl Hydroelectric Project.
