Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Survey
In 2022, the Low Impact Hydropower Institute (LIHI) Governing Board tasked LIHI staff with evaluating and defining the appropriate role of Low Impact hydropower in a decarbonized electricity future. This survey is meant to collect information to better understand how Low Impact Certified facilities are addressing climate change and its impacts on river resources. Additionally, we would like to further comprehend the impacts your facilities already experience, as well as the adaptations you as owners and operators are taking to mitigate these impacts. This survey should take roughly 15-20 minutes to complete. The information about your facilities will help inform LIHI on how to focus our attention in promoting Low Impact hydropower's role in a decarbonized electricity future. We appreciate your assistance!
