Aquatic Base Flow

The term Aquatic Base Flow was coined by the US Fish and Wildlife Service to describe a set of chemical, physical and biological conditions that represent limiting conditions for aquatic life and wildlife in stream environments. In hydrological terms, it means median August flow as calculated by USFWS.
