June 9, 2022: The Low Impact Hydropower Institute (LIHI) has preliminarily approved the Mattaceunk Project located on the Penobscot River in Maine for a 10-year term of Low Impact Certification, with an option to extend the term by 3 additional years.

If no appeal requests are received and the decision becomes final, the Certification term for the Project will be March 28, 2022 through March 27, 2032.
