December 1, 2021: The Low Impact Hydropower Institute (LIHI) has preliminarily approved the Willow Island Project located on the Ohio River in Ohio and West Virginia for a 5-year term of Low Impact Certification.

If no appeal requests are received and the decision becomes final, the Certification term for the Project will be August 17, 2021 through August 16, 2026.
