Pierre Bull is an energy policy analyst in the renewable energy program. His areas of emphasis include state and federal renewable procurement policies, electric utility regulation, distributed generation, and grid integration of variable output renewable resources. Prior to joining NRDC in 2008, Pierre was a project manager at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) focused on energy efficiency in the commercial building sector and promulgating state-level appliance and equipment efficiency standards (2005-2008). He holds a Master of Science degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
