In accordance with Section 5.3.4 of the 2nd Edition LIHI Handbook, issuance of a new license constitutes a \u201cmaterial change\u201d and triggers a mid-term LIHI Certification review. A new Certificate term can be granted if the project continues to satisfy the LIHI criteria even if the current term has not yet expired.<\/p>\n<p>LIHI is seeking comments on the mid-term review applications submitted by Great Lakes Hydro America, LLC, a subsidiary of Brookfield Renewable Energy Group, for the following projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lowimpacthydro.org\/es\/lihi-certificate-173-sawmill-hydroelectric-project-new-hampshire\/\">Sawmill, LIHI #173<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lowimpacthydro.org\/es\/lihi-certificate-174-cross-power-hydroelectric-project-new-hampshire\/\">Cross Power, LIHI #174<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lowimpacthydro.org\/es\/lihi-certificate-175-upper-gorham-hydroelectric-project-new-hampshire\/\">Upper Gorham, LIHI #175<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lowimpacthydro.org\/es\/lihi-certificate-176-shelburne-hydroelectric-project-new-hampshire\/\">Shelburne, LIHI #176<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lowimpacthydro.org\/es\/lihi-certificate-188-cascade-project-new-hampshire\/\">Cascade, LIHI #188<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The applications for the above five projects are consolidated into a single application found <a href=\"https:\/\/lowimpacthydro.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/20260203-Upper-Andro-LIHI-Mid-Term-Review-Application.pdf\"><strong>AQU\u00cd<\/strong><\/a>. Additional relicensing information can be found via the underlined links above near the bottom of each project webpage in the Certification Files and Key Documents sections.<\/p>\n<p>A mid-term review application was also submitted by Central Rivers Power NH, LLC, a subsidiary of LS Power\/ Patriot Hydro, LLC for the <a href=\"https:\/\/lowimpacthydro.org\/es\/lihi-certificate-153-gorham-hydroelectric-project-new-hampshire\/\">Gorham Project, LIHI #153<\/a>.
